Start your day positively and boost your mental wellbeing with Rise ‘n’ Stride! This Wednesday, Project Sunrise will participate in the national Mental Health Awareness Week by hosting a special edition of our weekly all-pace run club.
To honour the theme of the day, "Be Active/Me Kori Tonu," there’s no better way than to get your body moving in the great outdoors. We will meet at 6:15 AM for a 30-minute social run or walk along the coast, designed to energise your body and clear your mind. There’s no pressure regarding pace or distance—this event is all about showing up for yourself and our community.
This is an excellent opportunity to start your day with purpose, connect with others who understand, and prove to yourself that you can accomplish challenging things. All you need is a pair of trainers and a willingness to give it a try.
We’ll finish up at sunrise, and from 7 am there’s an optional ocean plunge and coffee for those who want to stick around. Let's move together for mental health. Everyone is welcome.
