Event title: Volunteering information library drop-in session

Event description:

Volunteering can be a powerful boost for your mental health and wellbeing.

It gives you a sense of purpose, helps you use your skills and lets you make a positive difference in your community. Volunteering is also a great way to meet people, build friendships and feel connected and included. Trying something new can increase confidence, provide valuable experience and give you a sense of achievement. Whether you have an hour a week or a few hours a month, there are many ways to get involved.

Finding a volunteer role that matches your interests, skills and availability can help you feel good while doing good.

Come and meet Volunteer Nelson at the Elma Turner library during MHAW on Wednesday, 14 October between 10am and 1pm.

Volunteering drop-in information sessions take place every Wednesday alternating between Stoke and Nelson Elma Turner libraries.
