7 Day Kind Mind Meditation challenge
Date:12:00pm to 12:30pm on 27 September - 03 October 21
The mind can be a harsh and cruel drill sergeant - which really isn’t helpful.
However the mind also has the capacity to be a kind and supportive friend if we learn how to tap into that and befriend ourselves. What's needed to help is guidance and practice to cultivate a kind mind - leading to the 7 Day Kind Mind Meditation Challenge.
For 7 days at midday - Lotty Roberts, mindfulness-based stress reduction teacher, emotional wellness specialist and founder of 'Mind U' will run 30 min online sessions via Zoom. Each session will include a short talk and 15 to 20 min guided meditation. The focus will be on building our mental wellness through better understanding and befriending the mind through the power of meditation. Lotty will also provide journal/reflection prompts to support the challenge too.
The 7Day Kind Mind Meditation Challenge starts on 27th September and continues until 3rd October at midday every day.
The challenge is free to sign up for, however I will also be accepting koha donations all of which will go to the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand.
