Exploring Wellbeing - Your Way
Date:10:00am to 2:00pm on 28 September 19
This years Mental Health Awareness Week theme is Explore your way to wellbeing | Whaia Te Ara Hauora, Whitiora. It is exploring your wellbeing through Te Whare Tapa Wha, the Maori health model that describes the cornerstones or pillars of hauora
The four walls represent taha Wairua (Spiritual), Taha Tinana (Physical), Taha Hinengaro (emotional and mental) and taha Whanau (Family and social).
It also includes Whenua (land, roots). When the four walls and foundation are strong, it helps us to be strong too, as our wellbeing is in check and we have a good quality of life
Your Way Wellbeing will be running an interactive, hands on workshop to help you understand these dimensions of hauora and support you in making changes to improve your wellbeing.
Workshop is Saturday the 28th of September from 10:00am - 2:00pm at Nau Mai and will be the perfect opportunity for you to learn, grow, explore and understand your own wellbeing - your way!
