DESCRIPTION:A national symposium on creativity and wellbeing is being held in Dunedin during Mental Health Awareness Week to celebrate the 40th anniversary of local creative space Artsenta.\n\nRegistrations are open to the public for the one-day event to be held at Tūhura Otago Museum. The symposium features presenters from across Aotearoa who work at the intersection of creativity and wellbeing. This will be an inspiring day of learning that aims to lift the awareness and understanding of creativity as an essential component of community wellbeing.\n\nThe symposium brings together artists\, researchers and leaders of creative spaces and programmes from across New Zealand with presentations focused on the impact of creative programmes and spaces on the lives of tangata whaiora.\n\nArtsenta is an art studio for people using mental health and addiction services and one of 65 creative spaces operating throughout New Zealand.
