SUMMARY:Exuberant and Innovative Inclusion
DESCRIPTION:This is an art exhibition for Mental Health Awareness week\, celebrating how inclusion can increase wellbeing for Takatāpui and Rainbow people.\n\nFor years\, Carole (she/her) has created art to make meaning of the world around her. Carole is non-binary/trans/asexual and pākehā. She is an experienced facilitator of transwomen support groups and LGBTQ+ addiction recovery in both individual and group sessions. She is also lead facilitator for Club Kahukura. Carole first identified as queer in 1976 while living and working in France\, before terms such as transgender and gender-fluid existed for her. She taught adults and adolescents\, retiring in 2008 to give more time to visual art practice.\n\nJoin her to learn about her art and the meanings behind it\, and celebrate the stories of Takatāpui and Rainbow wellbeing!
