SUMMARY:Mairehau Neighbourhood Garden - seed planting
DESCRIPTION:We have a weekly garden session in our community garden.\n\nThis particular session is about planting up a bunch of seeds which will be available as seedlings for a couple of events in 2-3 weeks after this event. The resulting seedlings will be offered at community events for people to take home. One community event is a Women's Connections group\, and the other is our annual Light Party where we see hundreds of our local community come together for a fun day where adults and children enjoy activities together.\n\nAs we come together to do the preparation work for our community\, we have a sense of belonging together as we work side by side\, and we also have a sense of belonging together for a purpose that will have future benefits.
