Beautiful Voices: Music for MHAW


The Choir of St James, and the Singers' Creative Research Ensemble Wellington, including students and graduates of NZSM vocal program, present a concert of classical vocal music.

Beautiful music from the Renaissance to the 20th Century, much of it from composers or authors whose lives were touched by mental distress, including Britten's Rejoice in the Lamb, which is based on a poem Christopher Smart wrote while in an asylum. All proceeds to the Mental Health Foundation. Tickets $20/$10. Door sales only. Email:
