MHAW Lockout: Walking Waikareao

Bay of Plenty

A nearly 9km walkway around the Waikareao estuary. Wading birds at low tide are a lovely sight to see and there is always a tui or two to entertain you in the bushy sections of the walk. I am lucky to have this literally outside my clinic door. Guess I'm walking rain, hail, shine or wind. Meet at 39 Maxwells Road with walking shoes and sunhat.
