World Mental Health Day celebration

Join AUT's Faculty of Health & Environmental Sciences to celebrate World Mental Health Day on Monday, 10 October 2016. This year the focus is on dignity in mental health – psychological and mental health first aid for all.

We plan to draw awareness to the World Federation for Mental Health’s goal of taking mental health out of the shadows, so people feel more confident in tackling the stigma, isolation and discrimination that continues to impact people with mental health conditions, their families and their carers.

The event will feature an excellent line-up of speakers, and will give you the opportunity to network with others who are interested in addressing mental health challenges. Come and learn more about mental health first aid and help us highlight an increasingly important health issue worldwide.
